Part 3
First off, I would like to thank you for your interest and continued attention in reading this series of articles on the Chakra Energy System. As promised, I am picking up where I left off in Part 2 and beginning with the Heart Chakra.
The fourth Chakra is known as anahata, the heart chakra and is located between the shoulder blades in the dorsal spine behind the heart.
• Glands and Organs Governed: circulatory system, arms, chest, hands, heart, blood, vagus nerve, cardiac and brachial plexus, and thymus gland.
 • Primary Function or Purpose: transformer, love and radiance, compassion, love, beliefs about love and relationships, oneness, thymus, and immune system. The heart chakra bestows the qualities of cosmic love, psychic powers, lightness and sense of well-being, awareness of the soul, and unconditional love.
• Associated Color, Sound and Element: Associated with the heart chakra is the color green or pink and antidote no color needed since it is central and balanced. The musical note of F, Sound-YM (Bell) with Tone-AH. The element is air and is feminine, loving, integrated, and yin.
• Gem Stones or Crystals:  Emerald (green), green jade, green tourmaline, malachite chrysoprase, and green aventurine; or pink stones: watermelon tourmaline, rhodochrosite, rose quartz, morganite, pink tourmaline, kunzite, and smithsonite.
• Essential Oils To Use: Rose, bergamot, melissa, neroli, mimosa, and marigold. Food intake is vegetables and green fruits.
• Associated Dysfunctions: With the heart chakra: heart related dis-eases, lung problems, high blood pressure, chest pain, immune and lymph systems, lack of forgiveness, resentment, sadness, sense of guilt, codependency, resentful, sadness, powerless, stress dis-orders, breast cancer, bronchial pneumonia, repression, instability, and out of balance.
The fifth Chakra is known as visuddha, the throat chakra and is located at center and base of the throat.
• Glands and Organs Governed: bronchial, vocal chords, lungs, ears, and mouth, and parathyroid and thyroid glands.
• Primary Function or Purpose: Sill to express, higher intellect, communication, voice, speech, writing, active listening, dreaming, power of choice, and harmony with others. The throat chakra gives clear speech, communication skills with divine guidance, and complete knowledge of the past, present, and future. 
• Associated Color, Sound, and Element: The color blue and antidote red, the musical note of g, sound-ha (wind through trees) with tone-ay. The element is ether and is masculine, logical, yang, and manifesting.
• Gem Stones or Crystals:  Lapis lazuli, blue sapphire, azurite, blue lace agate, larimar, aquamarine, turquoise, aqua aura quartz, chrysocolla, blue calcite, and lazulite. 
• Essential Oils to use: Chamomile, myrrh, frankincense, sandalwood, and lavender. food intake is vegetables and blue/purple fruits.
• Associated Dysfunctions: Communication/speech problems, ignorance, thyroid problems, depression, sore throat, high voice, poor self-image, unexpressive, secretive, loss of voice, mouth ulcers, headaches, sense that universe is unfriendly and unsafe, and ear infections.
The sixth Chakra is known as ajna, the brow, intuitive, or third eye chakra and is located between the eyebrows at the center of the brow.
• Glands and Organs Governed: Lower brain, left eye, nose, autonomic nervous system, associated with intuition, left and right cerebral hemispheres, mind function, and pituitary gland.
• Primary Function or Purpose: Seat of the mind, center of integrated personality, and compassion and wisdom. The brow chakra represents idealism, devotion to truth, perception, transmutation, purification, seat of primordial soul and power, merge of yin and yang, and transformation.
• Associated Color, Sound, and Element:  The color indigo and antidote orange, the musical note of a, sound-ah (rushing water) with tone-eee. the element is light-telepathic energy and is feminine, mysterious, intuitive, and yin.
• Gem Stones or Crystals: Iolite, amethyst, tanzanite, sodalite, sugilite, charoite, flourite, and lepidolite.
• Essential Oils to use: Hyacinth, violet, rose geranium, lavender, and star anise. food intake is pure air.
• Associated Dysfunctions: Visual problems, headaches, color distortions, allergies, lack of compassion and empathy, rationalist, critical or judgmental, learning difficulties, brain tumors, blindness, deafness, dyslexia, and insomnia.
The seventh Chakra is known as sahasrara, the crown chakra, called the “hole of brahma,” associated with enlightenment, and is located on the top of the head.
• Glands and Organs Governed: Upper brain, right eye, central nervous system, head, cerebral cortex, upper spine, skull, skin, and hair, and pineal gland.
• Primary Function or Purpose: Seat of the soul, higher will or knowing, transcends the physical body, cosmic awareness, reunion with source, unification with light of divine, and ultimate healing. The crown chakra represents enlightenment, energy flowing, and the attainment of the superconscious state on knowledge that “i am one with one” and in bliss.
• Associated Color, Sound, and Element: The color violet, white-pure bright light, or gold and antidote yellow, the musical note of b, sound-om with tone-eee (high). The element is thought-experience beyond self, comprehension of higher power or g-d, and mystical experiences.
• Gem Stones or Crystals: Diamond, danburite, phenacite, azeztulite, petalite, herkimer diamond, selenite, clear quartz, pearl, and clear calcite. Essential oils to use: lavender, bay laurel, valerian, rosewood, and frankincense. food intake is not necessary.
• Associated Dysfunctions: There is no dysfunction in this chakra other than being disconnected from higher power or the spiritual self.
The most important thing to remember about working with the Chakra Energy System is to create balance within the Energetic System. Since the Chakras and Subtle Body Energy Fields are completely interconnected, what occurs in one area affects our entire Energetic Body and Being. A blockage anywhere in the system can and will affect other areas, including the Physical, Mental and Emotional, and Spiritual Beings. Oftentimes, Energetic Healing involves the Clearing, Balancing, Transforming, and Redefining of the Subtle Body Energy Fields and Chakras; which, in turn, allows the Body to release stagnant patterns, beliefs, relationship wounds, family mores, and blockage. Personal transformation and healing can occur in a natural and spontaneous manner. This process is a blending and balancing of the intelligence in your head with the wisdom of your heart, which provide a bridge to acccess the innate knowing of your SOUL. “Heal and Recover from the Outside In...
