A Growing Concern Is Indoor Air Quality

Due to growing concerns about indoor air quality, it is important to get the air ducts cleaned in homes or businesses periodically. Many homes have not had these checked or cleaned in years.
Air duct cleaning reduces indoor air pollution and promotes indoor health. Kitchen fumes, tobacco smoke, radon, and mold are some of the most common indoor pollutants, which can intensify from always running the air conditioner or heat without opening any windows.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit, the heating system and the air ducts are a common place for different types of mold to build. Moisture plays a significant role in the growth of mold, once it makes its way to the air ducts, it will have a non-visible environment to grow. In addition to dust, air ducts frequently contain harmful contaminants and microorganisms. These include pet dander, bacteria, pollen, mildew, mold spores, and similar toxins. People who suffer from allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems are particularly sensitive to these airborne particles.
Air ducts are associated with your heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and are the pathways for heated or cooled air to travel throughout a home. Air duct cleaning is the process of removing dust and other contaminants that accumulate over time from your air ductwork.
The health risk of not cleaning the air ducts on a regular basis can be sneezing, a runny nose, coughing, wheezing, watery eyes, redness of the eyes, itchy eyes, skin irritation and rash.
