Are You Tired of Being in Pain? Tap It Away Quickly and Easily with EFT

Can you identify with any of the following situations?
Physical pain that has plagued you for years.
A lifelong phobia, such as a fear of heights or of water.
Flashbacks and other effects from a trauma that happened decades ago.
Constant cravings for food, alcohol, or drugs.
Emotional issues that you can't seem to resolve.
If you're dealing with one of these situations, you have probably tried a lot of things that haven't solved the problem and you may believe that it will never go away. What would you say, though, if I told you that there was a simple procedure that you can learn in a few minutes that could lessen or even eliminate these problems? You'd probably say I was crazy.
Well, there is such a procedure. It's called Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT. EFT can be learned and applied in just a few minutes. It involves tapping on different parts of the body to free blocked energy that causes emotional “stuckness” and, sometimes, physical pain; you can find the sequence on the EFT website (www.emofree.com). It is used to treat a variety of problems, including physical pain, painful feelings, anxiety, phobias, trauma, addictive cravings, and more. Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, suggests that people “try it on everything.”
I don't blame you if you're skeptical; I was a skeptic, too, until I tried EFT myself. I first used it to deal with anger about an incident that had just happened to me. I was amazed at how quickly the anger drained away. Since that day, I have frequently used EFT on myself and with my clients. Sometimes it is a simple matter of stating the problem and tapping on it. Sometimes it takes a little work to find the root of the problem, though, which is why it can sometimes be helpful to work with a therapist to get at the main issue.
So how is it that something called “Emotional Freedom Technique” can resolve physical problems? Eric Robins, M.D., says, “Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of 85% of all illnesses. When they do, EFT will be one of their primary healing tools… as it is for me.”
John Sarno, M.D., a professor of physical medicine at NYU, sees patients with extreme chronic pain. He has found that these patients have chronic muscle tension and spasms that restrict blood flow and cause a lack of oxygen, which results in severe pain. He believes that the muscle tension is a result of repressed feelings of anger or anxiety. This muscle tension becomes a chronic problem. With EFT, stored-up feelings can be released, offering relief from the pain they cause.
So, if you've been struggling with physical or emotional pain that you thought would never go away, why not try EFT? You've got nothing to lose but your pain.
