Full Eyebrows

Eyebrow hair loss happens to us for many reasons stress, aging, over plucking and scarring. Because eyebrows frame our face, they should be defined, even, and full. Many women try to achieve definition through makeup application, which often times looks harsh, too thin, uneven, and fades throughout the day. A few women have gone the drastic route of eyebrow tattooing.

Now, there is a very natural looking option that gives semi-permanent results microblading. With the use of an organic plant-based pigment and a feathering technique, microblading is able to achieve a very soft and natural look. The procedure takes about an hour, and there is no downtime. Results may last from one to three years.

Microblading is also known by different names like eyebrow embroidery or 3D eyebrows. The process begins with a consultation in which both the technician and the client determine the eyebrow size and shape.

Then, at the time of the procedure, local anesthesia is used to numb the eyebrows so that the client feels very little discomfort. A special microblading tool, that looks like a pen, is used manually, to deposit the pigment and draw individual feathering strokes. The procedure takes about one to one and half hours. Although there is no downtime, healing varies from client to client and may take from one week to three weeks. After three weeks, the client must meet again with the technician to determine if a touch-up is needed and to monitor the healing progress.

This technique of semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement can last up to a year and half. It all depends on the person's skin and the care of the eyebrows.

Microblading can also be an ideal service for alopecia clients or those who have lost their eyebrow because of other conditions. There are no real side effects or precautions with this treatment.
