Look Good, Feel Good… Inside and Out!

The way you look on the outside an be a direct result of what’s going on inside. It’s important to take care of your skin with various technologies but it’s also important to follow proper nutrition.

We’re often told skin is the largest organ in our body, but we seldom talk about the importance of skin fitness. In addition to developing a healthy, daily skin regimen to keep your skin young and glowing, it is important to undergo science-based testing to determine your skincare needs.

Skin Mapping

Face mapping divides your face into 13 zones, each with corresponding inner health implications. Therefore, you can tell whether your heart or kidney is in perfect working condition just by looking at your face in the mirror.

Zones 1 & 3: Forehead. Breakouts in these zones can point to the bladder and digestive system problems. Increasing your water intake should lead to a noticeable change.

Zone 2: It is located between the eyes. Congestion in this zone is indicative of a strained liver, due to excessive consumption of alcohol. You may want to go easy on the booze.

Zones 4 & 10: Hotness on your ears is indicative of kidney problems, which may stem from stress and dehydration. Remedies include drinking plenty of water and reducing caffeine and alcohol intake.

Zones 5 & 9: Congestion on your cheeks is very telling of respiratory problems. Causative agents may range from allergies, to excessive consumption of sugar, to stress.

Zone 6 & 8: Your eyes are a window not only to your soul but also your health. Dark circles, while often hereditary, can be due to dehydration.

Zone 7:  A reddened nose can mean your heart is in trouble. To restore normal blood circulation, avoid poor diet, reduce salt intake, and eat more vegetables to aid with digestion.

Zone 11 & 13: Your jawline may seem off if you’ve had extensive dental surgery. It’s also possible your hygiene may require attention and you may need to avoid greasy foods.

Zone 12: If you don’t like the way your chin looks, there’s a good chance your stomach, kidney, or reproductive organs are not functioning optimally. You can redress that by avoiding greasy foods and by drinking plenty of water.

Skincare Testing

The importance of skin testing cannot be overstated. Your skincare expert needs to not only know the science but also have the training, technology, and understanding to properly analyze any predispositions you may have, such as photoaging, oxidative stress, wrinkling, and other important skin conditions.

Detoxification

The liver is your body’s primary detoxifying organ, and while it is doing a good job of this, the heavy chemical load in today’s society means the liver has been subjected to more work than it can handle. That’s why support for the body’s natural detoxification process is so vital.

There are treatments and services that support these vital liver functions at every stage of the detoxification process, enhancing the liver’s natural detoxifying process, and supporting this vital organ to function at maximum efficiency. When toxins, heavy metals, and other chemicals are effectively removed from the body, you experience your best personal health and wellness.

Therefore it is important to seek the guidance of skincare experts that incorporate wellness into caring for your skin.
