Epigenetics: Stop Cancer Before It Begins

A simple epigenetic test shows men and women of any age what to do to potentially prevent cancer. “I’m convinced dealing with my genetic errors is helping me prevent the colon cancer that runs in my family”, said Simon, aged 60.

With the right combination of supplements and lifestyle, we can help prevent our inherited tendencies to disease, including:

  • Cancer
  • Dementia
  • Heart Disease
  • Obesity
  • Birth Defects
  • ADHD/Anxiety/Depression

Cancer

With a simple mouth-swab test you can tell if you or a loved one has the genetic tendency to develop cancer. Three of the main ways to help prevent cancer by knowing your personal genetic make-up are whether you:

  1. Can’t turn inflammation off in your body
  2. Can’t use a chemical (methyl group) that is necessary for health, and
  3. Can’t recycle wastes out of your cells.

Inflammation

There are 15 genes that we know of which turn inflammation on and off in our body. Inflammation helps heal our body but if you can’t turn it off, it is like a fire that destroys parts of our body and can cause heart disease, auto-immune issues and cancer.

The solution is specific precision nutrition just for your genetic issues.

Some important genes that you may have inherited problems in are: IL5, IL13, STAT4 and CTLA4. These are easily identified with a simple mouth swab.

Methylation

Every gene in every cell is ultimately regulated by methylation.

Methylation involves adding a “methy group” – one carbon atom plus three hydrogen atoms – to something (such as a gene, enzyme, hormone, neurotransmitter, vitamin) in your body.

What happens when this system fails? You have genes ON when they’re supposed to be OFF, and OFF when they’re supposed to be ON. A classic example is when methylation fails to turn off the genes that contribute to cancer. Not good.

23andMe tests for one gene that helps methylation. But there are 11 more that need to be tested to know if you need a supplement to help you.

Cleaning Up Your Cells

If our cells can’t get the waste out, garbage builds up and the cells stops functioning correctly. This can cause:

  • Premature aging
  • Auto-immune diseases and fatigue
  • Problems with kidney, liver, pancreas
  • Cancer

With epigenetic testing, there are seven main genes that indicate when you need help with detoxification. With this information, ways can be suggested to assist your body in recycling the waste and revive up your cells.

Epigenetic testing with a mouth swab can identify your specific weaknesses before cancer even gets started. How about that?
