New Treatment For Facial Aging and Cellulite

Profound is a unique technology that combines radio frequency with micro needling with an exact temperature monitoring system. This technology has FDA approval for treating cellulite and facial aging.
It is unique in that only a single treatment is required to get satisfactory results, and improvement is seen in 100% of treated patients.
It has been shown to improve the jaw line, sub mental fat (double chin), and facial wrinkles, as well as cellulite. Treated areas show regeneration of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin tissue. This means the treatment reverses the signs of aging.
This is achieved via targeted thermal “injury” to the epidermis and dermis using five pairs of electrically isolated 32-gauge micro-needles that penetrate the tissue at a depth of one to two millimeters.
There is precise and controlled fractionated thermal energy delivered to the dermal layer. For optimal treatment, the temperature is also adjustable based on real time feedback.
All of the features mentioned above tell us we know exactly what is happening to the area during treatment. The appearance of facial aging is the result of loss of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin over time. We know thermal delivery to the tissue creates new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, therefore, we know the treated area will improve the signs of aging.
The tissue appears to be lifted, wrinkles are diminished and skin is smoother. We also can target and melt fat with the SubQ tip of this machine in difficult to treat areas such as a double chin.
This new radio-frequency machine is superior to some older technology in the today’s marketplace because of its precision with respect to temperature control, depth measurements, and the energy delivery mechanism.
Look at some of the before and after photos of patients treated with this machine and be your own judge. If needed, the treatment may be repeated after six to nine months, as this is the point of peak results. Most patients are satisfied with a single treatment.

Patients who have had the treatment come back in one week, six week, three month, and six month intervals to evaluate their progress.
The majority of patients begin to experience changes during the first six weeks, and they continue to show improvement as time progresses.
There are very few side effects to this treatment. Treated individuals may see edema and bruising of the treated area for five to seven days, with a sensation of numbness that gradually recedes over a few weeks.
