Spinal Decompression

Are you having neck and back problems? Have you tried all your options including injections, physical therapy, medications and now it looks like you are a candidate for surgery? The DRX 9000 is used for treating neck and low back pain for people that are considering surgery due to herniated discs, bulging discs and degenerative disc disease. Unlike surgery which requires months of recovery, DRX treatment allows patients to return to an active lifestyle sooner.

Timothy George suffered from chronic back pain for years as a result of a near-fatal accident fall at work. “I was hurting terrible,” says George. As a result of the accident, his vertebrae were out of alignment and his disc out of place. He was suffering from a lot of pain in his legs which made it nearly impossible to walk. After receiving a brochure in the mail describing a new Spinal Decompression technique just one week before scheduled surgery, he decided to check it out. He underwent 10 weeks of treatment in July 2007 and now continues to see his chiropractor once a month for follow-up treatment. “Its really been a blessing to me,” says George. “I had a 4-hour surgery to look forward to before, and now I’m doing well. I could feel my vertebrae slightly stretching during the procedure. It really does a great job”

Lou D. had been suffering years after back surgery. “I had back surgery almost 11 years ago, still the pain has not gone away. I had tried everything up to this point, until I found the DRX. Right away it helped my leg pain and localized the pain to my low back which has been completely manageable with chiropractic and maintenance care.”

A patient is required to get an MRI and X-rays before beginning treatment which requires at least 20 sessions at one hour per session. Patients undergo additional chiropractic treatment and physical therapy following their treatment.

The spinal decompression is a gentle, painless intermittent pulling of your neck or back which is so relaxing many patients fall asleep. Ordinary traction pulls both the muscles and spine in a generalized area, with no regard to your bodys response resulting in minimal and temporary results. The treatments with the DRX expands the space between the bones and restores nutrient flow to the disc which promotes healing. MRI studies have shown that spinal decompression using the DRX9000 returns herniated material back into the disc while regular traction does NOT.

Additional research is being conducted, but presently the success rate has proven to be about 85% effective. Why would you choose to suffer when you don’t have to?
