What Is New In the Nonsurgical Face Lift?

Thread lifting is a new nonsurgical face treatment that lifts and tightens sagging skin tissue, by injecting threads that create a mesh under the skin. This mesh will serve as a foundation for new collagen production. These absorbable sutures are one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body. This procedure will not leave any scars and there is no risk, and only local anesthesia is used.

The threads are injected into the deeper layers of the skin. The absorbable threads bring excellent results to patients who do not wish to go under the knife and do not have time to stay home. The lifting effect of the silhouette is immediate since it results from the compression of tissues and elevating the skin when the sutures are being implanted. This effect will improve as post-procedure swelling subsides and may last for 18 months to about two years.

After the thread lifting, you can match the fullness of the lips with injections. These new treatment options are probably inspired by celebrities but are available to everyone. Most fillers are a synthetic form of a naturally occurring compound in our bodies called hyaluronic acid. It is able to hold a large number of water molecules, which allows it to hydrate tissue as well as augmenting it.

Small amounts of the filler are injected into the lips and can enlarge these while making them look natural at the same time.  There are different types of fillers, which will achieve different results. Some have a much firmer consistency and require that the physicians balance them to make symmetry correct. Others will easily diffuse into the injection site, which negates the need to manually shape it. Choosing between thicker or thinner injection solutions depends on the final appearance that the patient desires.

Whether a physician is doing the thread lifting and/or lip shaping, the first step is to discuss the desired goal of facial appearance with the patient.
