Haresh Ailani, MD

Haresh Ailani, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in anterior segment surgery including cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Ailani specializes in no stitch refractive cataract surgery and femtosecond laser cataract surgery with standard and premium intraocular lenses. He performs all forms of corneal transplantation including full thickness corneal transplants and partial thickness descemet’s stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK). Dr. Ailani’s surgical expertise also includes anterior segment reconstruction, and laser vision correction with custom LASIK and PRK.

Dr. Ailani participates in resident education as a clinical instructor to the Georgetown University ophthalmology residents where he teaches complex cataract and anterior segment surgery.
