Lisa Boynes Sindass, MD

Dr. Sindass is a licensed Pediatrician with 18 years of experience in direct patient care. Dr. Sindass is a holistic doctor who believes in evidenced based use of integrative and alternative medicine practices that support the union of the mind, body, and spirit of her patients.

She is functional physician consultant with a focus on cannabis and lifestyle medicine. She will guide you on how to use food as medicine, get adequate sleep, reduce body fat, achieve a healthy weight, and how to determine the optimal supplements for maximal health. In terms of medical cannabis, Dr. Sindass is helping her patients of all ages use medical cannabis as primary or supportive care for pain, and a variety of chronic illnesses.

After graduating Howard University for undergraduate education, she attended Meharry Medical College in Tennessee where she completed Medical School. She then returned to District of Columbia. to attend Howard University Hospital for residency in pediatrics.

While practicing, she trained in Eastern traditions of healing by completing 200 hours of Kundalini Yoga for children and families. She has incorporated mindfulness practices in her teachings and has been teaching yoga and mindfulness to kids since 2014.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Dr. Sindass is a fellow candidate of homeopathic medicine. Years of independent study of medical cannabis lead to her certification as a medical cannabis provider in Maryland and District of Columbia. Dr. Sindass is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Florida.

Dr. Sindass is the Co-Host of “Carib Nation TV Health”, a YouTube and TV broadcast Show in 22 Caribbean Nations via Carib Vision TV. She is an advocate of volunteerism and education outreach to her community and beyond. She loves to travel, create and enjoy new recipes, nature, family and friends.
